Experience new-make whisky and join us on our whisky journey at The Spirit of Manchester Distillery.
In 2022, we started making One Point Six English Single-Malt Whisky. We select the finest grains from English maltsters, craft a unique mash bill, and finesse the product at each stage, from mashing and fermenting, to distilling and curating. We are making something special here.
You’ll receive an arrival drink made with our award-winning New Make spirit, to sip upon whilst enjoying a behind-the-scenes look at our distillery.
During this experience, we’ll explore barley selection, mashing, fermentation, wash and spirits runs, and the ageing process. We’ll also share the origins of One Point Six Whisky and our inspiration for the brand. From there, we’ll go into a spirits tasting, allowing you to experience our product at different stages of production. There will also be the opportunity to sample other products from The Spirit of Manchester Distillery.
Each year this experience will evolve as we further our English Whisky heritage, and explore our path as whisky makers.
Distillery guests will get 10% off their bill in our bar and restaurant Three Little Words, and 10% off any merchandise purchases.
Our distillery is fully accessible, but please let us know at the time of booking if you have any specific requirements.
